This is the shocking moment a gunman opened fire on a property in Co Clare while a number of people were asleep inside.<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed are continuing to investigate the shooting, which took place in the D\u00fan Na Hinse area of Ennis on Friday and left three people hospitalised. Footage shows the gunman attacking the house in the early hours of Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The footage shows the hooded gunman, who is dressed in a black tracksuit, approaching the house at around 7am. The gunman is seen to be holding a shotgun \u2013 and fires two shots from the weapon at close range towards the downstairs front window.<\/p>\n

The gunman then reloads the shotgun and fires two further shots through the front door before fleeing the scene.<\/p>\n

The gunman was filmed firing a total of four shots at the property in the early morning attack<\/p>\n

Garda\u00ed and National Ambulance Service paramedics responded to the incident and a man in his 50s was rushed to University Hospital Limerick (UHL), where he is being treated for injuries which are currently believed to be non-life threatening.<\/p>\n

Two other people who were in the house at the time of the shooting were removed from the scene and taken to hospital as a precautionary measure, the Irish Mirror<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n

The house was sealed off on Friday as Garda\u00ed<\/a> carried out a technical examination of the scene.
