ComicBookPros<\/a> released the first trailer<\/a> for upcoming documentary \u201cBill Sienkiewicz: That Polish Guy\u201d during their San Diego Comic-Con panel, giving fans a first look at the new project highlighting one of the most enduring artists in comics.<\/p>\n

Panelists Bill Sienkiewicz (The New Mutants), director Remsy Atassi (The Legend of Kingdom Come), and producer Sal Abbinanti (The Legend of Kingdom Come) discussed topics including Bill\u2019s one-of-a-kind career and the process of making the documentary, followed by an audience Q&A. Fans in attendance received an exclusive film poster only available in person at San Diego Comic Con 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m incredibly excited about the documentary; it\u2019s both humbling and nerve-wracking to see my life\u2019s work splayed out on-screen accompanied by observations by so many of my creative heroes,\u201d said Bill Sienkiewicz. \u201cBut more, I\u2019m excited because the documentary discusses the obsessive need to make art, as part of the unifying human experience, a drive that defies language, place or even medium of choice. That drive is something we all share and I\u2019m proud, in the words of the great Cormac McCarthy, to carry that fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

Titled after the nickname Bill received from legendary actor-director Clint Eastwood, Bill Sienkiewicz: That Polish Guy explores the life and career of the groundbreaking Polish-American artist. The film demonstrates Bill\u2019s impact through interviews with industry luminaries including Vincent D\u2019Onofrio, Kevin Smith, Peter Ramsey, Jim Lee, Denys Cowan, and many more across comics, film, and television, alongside a behind-the-scenes look at some of the iconic works that defined his career, including Moon Knight, New Mutants, Elektra: Assassin, and beyond.<\/p>\n
