\n\tNBC<\/a>\u2018s new multi-cam comedy \u201cNewlyweds<\/a>\u201d has cast three new series regulars, Variety has learned. <\/p>\n

\n\tEmma Meisel, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio and Bill O\u2019Neill have all joined the series opposite leads T\u00e9a Leoni and Tim Daly. As previously reported, series executive producer Jamie Lee Curtis will also appear in a recurring guest star role. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe logline for the show describes it as \u201ca later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman (Leoni) and a buttoned-up professor (Daly) who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tMeisel and Diaz-Silverio will play Poppy and Lolo, respectively. Both are Jeanie\u2019s (Leoni), with Lolo being adopted. O\u2019Neill will play Arvid, who is James\u2019 (Daly) assistant in the philosophy department at the University of Oslo.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeisel previously appeared in the Disney+ series \u201cDoogie Kamealoha, M.D.\u201d She is also known for her role in Destry Allyn Spielberg\u2019s debut film, \u201cPlease Don\u2019t Feed the Children\u201d and appeared in multiple episodes of \u201cAmerican Horror Story\u201d Season 9. <\/p>\n

\n\tShe is repped by Innovative Artists and MGMT Entertainment. <\/p>\n

\n\tDiaz-Silverio is best known for starring in the critically-acclaimed Amazon series \u201cPrimo\u201d from Shea Serrano and Mike Schur. He has since appeared in shows like \u201cZero Day,\u201d \u201cLaw & Order: SVU,\u201d and \u201cFBI.\u201d His film credits include Zach Braff\u2019s \u201c\u201cA Good Person.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe is repped by Gersh and Untitled Entertainment. <\/p>\n

\n\tO\u2019Neill\u2019s \u201cThe Amazing Banana Brothers\u201d earned him an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe. He is also a co-creator of the FX show \u201cTwo Pink Doors\u201d and is featured in Edgar Wright\u2019s remake of \u201cThe Running Man.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNewlyweds\u201d hails from writer and executive producer Gail Lerner as well as executive producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum for The Tannenbaum Company, Curtis, Scott Schwartz, and Lionsgate Television. Pam Fryman directed and executive produced the pilot. Universal Television is the studio. <\/p>\n
