EastEnders\u2019 Lauren Beale is left reeling next week \u2013 when Peter finds evidence that she\u2019s been up to no good with Mark Fowler behind his back! The horrified husband makes a discovery on Lauren\u2019s phone after becoming suspicious over her behaviour around Mark<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He can\u2019t believe it when he goes onto the device and discovers that Mark and Lauren have been in cahoots \u2013 but how will she react when he confronts her?<\/p>\n

“Ever since she gave in to her lust for Mark<\/a>, Lauren has felt terrible about betraying Peter \u2013 so this is a heart-stopping moment,” reveals our Walford insider. <\/p>\n

“He demands answers, and Lauren has no choice but to admit that she and Mark have been shifting stolen cars together. This sort of betrayal is going to cut Peter deep, so imagine how he\u2019ll feel if he discovers that Lauren has cheated on him with Mark too\u2026”<\/p>\n

In Lauren\u2019s defence, she\u2019s been trying to put distance between them in the past week or so, but her aloof behaviour is not fooling Mark. He tries to wind Lauren up by flirting with another woman in front of her<\/a> but later puts his cards on the table and admits that he\u2019s catching feelings. <\/p>\n

This massive moment between them is interrupted as Peter bursts in, and Lauren has no chance to respond. However, Lauren is quick to use the truth about the car scheme to deflect from questions about her and Mark.<\/p>\n

“Lauren is really confused \u2013 she\u2019s married to her childhood sweetheart, and they have their beautiful boys, but she\u2019s still thinking about Mark<\/a>,” says our source.<\/p>\n

“Her head is a mess, and the big blow-up with Peter over the cars is making things even worse. Penny tries to be there for Lauren and presses her to admit how she really feels about Mark. But there\u2019s a big question mark over what Lauren would be willing to risk for a man she knows to be trouble\u2026”<\/p>\n

Once he discovers there\u2019s discord between Peter and Lauren, Mark starts to believe that something serious could happen between them. His hopes rise further when Lauren asks to meet up. But Lauren has a request for Mark that could change everything, depending on his next move. <\/p>\n

So, when Peter summons her and explains that Mark has told him everything, is Lauren\u2019s future about to be decided for her?<\/p>\n
