The Aodh Ruadh senior ladies are among sixty teams that will participate in the O\u2019Neills All-Ireland Club 7-a-side competitions, to be played at the Naomh Mearn\u00f3g club in Dublin next Saturday August 1.<\/p>\n
The clubs attending will compete for the Senior, Intermediate and Junior prizes on offer, on the eve of TG4 All-Ireland Finals day.<\/p>\n
O\u2019Neills were unveiled as official sponsors of the LGFA\u2019s All-Ireland Club 7s competitions in 2024, a development which further strengthened the long-standing relationship between the LGFA and O\u2019Neills, who are kit manufacturers for many leading inter-county and club teams.<\/p>\n
Next Sunday at Croke Park, TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship finalists Kerry will wear O\u2019Neills kit as they aim a second Brendan Martin Cup win in three seasons.<\/p>\n
There was huge interest once again in the 2026 O\u2019Neills All-Ireland Club 7s, and Aodh Ruadh will compete in the senior section.<\/p>\n
Senior champions Donaghmoyne (Monaghan) are back to defend their title but they\u2019ll face stiff opposition from a number of teams, including 2025 AIB All-Ireland Senior club finalists St Ergnat\u2019s, Moneyglass (Antrim).<\/p>\n
Trina Murray, President of the Ladies Gaelic Football Association, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re really looking forward to our 2026 O\u2019Neills All-Ireland Club 7s at Naomh Mearn\u00f3g. It\u2019s great to have O\u2019Neills on board again for a third year as sponsors of this prestigious annual event.<\/p>\n
\u201cAhead of our TG4 All-Ireland Finals, the O\u2019Neills All-Ireland Club 7s are a perfect appetiser, and keenly contested in their own right.<\/p>\n
\u201cClubs from across the country will descend upon Naomh Mearn\u00f3g aiming for coveted national titles and while there\u2019s a huge element of fun and camaraderie involved on the day, the football is also extremely competitive.<\/p>\n
