Although she hopes to move to New York next year, Bright is close to her family. She refers to her two younger sisters (aged 16 and 13) as her best friends, along with her best friends from school, Malory Towers and Off Campus \u2013 there are a lot of best friends in the world of Ella Bright. At home in London, they have two whippets called Winnie and Bea. \u2018They\u2019re the skinniest little scared things in the world, but I love them. I really miss them.\u2019 Another thing Bright misses is pub gardens. \u2018I\u2019m very jealous that I\u2019m not there for the World Cup.\u2019 As for Bright\u2019s London, it\u2019s not all Spoons: \u2018I love going out in Camden. I mean, Blues Kitchen, Jazz Cafe, KOKO,\u2019 she reels off. \u2018For my birthday last year, after I came back from Paris, I went to Heaven, and me and my best friends all wore these neon bob wigs. To switch off, Bright will \u2018just walk for hours and hours and not think about anything\u2019. Otherwise it\u2019s reality television: Love Island, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Selling the OC, you name it. \u2018Honestly, anything,\u2019 she laughs. Musically, she\u2019s a Swiftie through and through. \u2018My first ever concert was Taylor Swift\u2019s 1989 tour in Hyde Park<\/a>.\u2019 She followed that up with two back-to-back nights at the Eras tour in 2024, one night dressed as Poison Ivy (in reference to the lyrics in \u2018Don\u2019t Blame Me\u2019), the second night as one of the seagulls from the 1989 album cover. She has also seen SZA live and went to Reading Festival when she was 16. \u2018It was four people in a two-man tent. I look at the people who go to Coachella and I\u2019m like, \u201cOh my gosh, my Reading experience was not that.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n The future is certainly bright. Having done a run performing at the Edinburgh<\/a> Festival Fringe aged 17 (\u2018we saw 24 plays in three days\u2019), the actress is open to a return to the theatre<\/a> in the West End or on Broadway. She\u2019d love to do a psychological thriller and is keen to be in a film<\/a>. But, for now, this Bright Young Thing is on a whistle-stop tour of Paris, then it\u2019s back to Vancouver.
