\n\tJennifer Aniston<\/a> is set to star in Olivia Wilde<\/a>\u2019s Universal comedy \u201cNaughty,\u201d playing a single mom named Mallory \u2014 whose \u201ctrash-bag ex\u201d is Santa Claus.<\/p>\n

\n\tPeter Dinklage<\/a> takes on the role as the king of Christmas.<\/p>\n

\n\tWilde \u2014 fresh off the success of her latest directorial effort \u201cThe Invite\u201d \u2014 directs \u201cNaughty,\u201d which centers on Mallory, whose \u201conly hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus and convince him to testify in her divorce hearing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJimmy Warden (\u201cCocaine Bear,\u201d \u201cBorderline\u201d) wrote the screenplay and original spec script. LuckyChap<\/a> (the company led by Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara\u00a0and Milan Popelka), Wilde and Warden will produce.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe project was first announced in 2023<\/a> and described as \u201cBridesmaids\u201d set at the North Pole. Universal has dated the movie for theatrical release on Nov. 5, 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tExecutive VP of production development Sara Scott and director of production development Jacqueline Garell will oversee the project on behalf of the studio.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe casting update comes as Emmy and Golden Globe winner Aniston wraps up her tenure as executive producer and star of \u201cThe Morning Show\u201d with its forthcoming fifth and final season on Apple TV. (Aniston also won SAG-AFTRA\u2019s Actors Award for her performance as news anchor Alex Levy.) Meanwhile, Dinklage \u2014 who won a record four Emmys for \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d \u2014 recently booked a key role on FX\u2019s \u201cAlien: Earth\u201d for its upcoming season.<\/p>\n

\n\tAniston, Dinklage, Wilde, Warden and LuckyChap are represented by CAA. <\/p>\n

\n\tAniston is also repped by Lighthouse Management & Media, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, and Dinklage by Jackoway Austen Tyerman.<\/p>\n

\n\tWilde is also repped by Untitled Entertainment, Narrative and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole; Warden by Untitled Entertainment, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis and Ziffren Brittenham; and LuckyChap by Entertainment 360, Narrative and attorney Jeff Bernstein.\u00a0<\/p>\n
