Actor Eric Roberts has broken his silence after missing his daughter Emma’s wedding to Cody John over the weekend. The American Horror Story star tied the knot with Cody in an intimate ceremony in Idaho on Saturday. <\/p>\n

The wedding was attended by Emma’s A-list aunt Julia and stars including Demi Moore, Kristen Stewart, Sarah Paulson and Billie Lourd. But notably absent was Emma’s father Eric.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Page Six<\/a>, Eric confirmed his absence telling the publication: “I love my daughter, always have, always will. It is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.”<\/p>\n

Emma is yet to comment on her father missing the ceremony. Father and daughter are said to have a rocky relationship, thought Eric confirmed earlier this year that they were no longer estranged. <\/p>\n

He told the Really Famous podcast (via Entertainment Weekly<\/a>) that their relationship was “only complicated through outside eyes”.<\/p>\n

The actress was walked down the aisle by her five-year-old son Rhodes Robert Hedlund, who she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund. <\/p>\n

On Instagram Emma’s hairstylist Nikki Lee shared photos of the actress having her final dress fittings with designer Monique Lhuillier. The photos showed Emma in a white bridal gown complete with veil and a black, strapless, tiered dress. <\/p>\n

Nikki captioned the photos: “Emma looking like an absolute dream for the final fitting with @vogueweddings \ud83e\udd0d @moniquelhuillierofficial you really outdid yourself on these dresses.”<\/p>\n

Emma and Cody were engaged in July 2024 after dating for nearly two years. The actress announced the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of her engagement ring and writing: “Putting this here before my mom tells everyone.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Emma has recently been busy filming season 13 of American Horror Story. Emma was among the castmembers spotted on location<\/a> in New York City earlier this month. <\/p>\n

The 13th season will see Emma, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Jessica Lange all reprising their Coven characters from season three.<\/p>\n
