The biggest hit in America collects a milestone fifteenth frame in charge, becoming one of fewer than 10 tracks to dominate the country\u2019s most competitive songs ranking for that long.<\/p>\n \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d continues to perform well across all three metrics that feed into the Billboard Hot 100: streams, sales and radio airplay. This week, though, it leads only one of those component tallies. The country smash remains No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart, standing out as the most-played track of any style on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music throughout the United States. <\/p>\n As it holds in that slot once more, Langley moves higher on the all-time ranking of the longest-running leaders and matches a historic smash from nearly a decade ago.<\/p>\n Ella Langley Ties \u201cDespacito\u201d With 16 Weeks at No. 1<\/p>\n \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d<\/a> leads the Streaming Songs chart<\/a> for a sixteenth week. That total ties Langley\u2019s hit as the fourth-longest-running No. 1 in the history of the ranking.<\/p>\n The country tune matches \u201cDespacito\u201d by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber. That global blockbuster controlled the list of the most-streamed songs in the U.S. for 16 periods in 2017.<\/p>\n Mariah Carey Still Holds the All-Time Record<\/p>\n Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d remains the longest-running No. 1 in the history of the Streaming Songs chart. The holiday favorite has accumulated 26 weeks \u2013 half a year \u2013 in the top spot.<\/p>\n That run has been spread across more than half a decade. \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d first climbed to No. 1 in 2019 and has returned to the peak position during almost every holiday season since. The seasonal smash even controlled the ranking earlier in 2026, as Christmas listening continued into January.<\/p>\n \u201cOld Town Road\u201d<\/a> by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus held the record for several years after becoming the first track to reach a milestone 20 weeks in charge. Morgan Wallen\u2019s \u201cLast Night\u201d nearly matched that sum, spending 19 frames as the most-streamed song in the country.<\/p>\n Ella Langley Could Reach 17 Weeks In a Few Days<\/p>\n \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d will almost certainly hold at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart when Billboard refreshes its rankings again in a matter of days. Should it continue to lead, Langley will collect a seventeenth frame at the summit, passing \u201cDespacito\u201d for good.<\/p>\n Even if \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d reaches 17 periods in charge, it will still need another two after that to tie the 19-week reign of \u201cLast Night\u201d and advance again on the historic roster. <\/p>\n
