\u201cWhen I was younger, I felt very angry at the world,\u201d guitarist\/vocalist Erik Bickerstaffe admits. \u201cI had a \u2018fuck everyone\u2019 attitude, and a lot of music would be me putting all this resentment out there. I\u2019ve definitely been more self-centred in the past. I was a bit selfish. As I\u2019m getting older, I\u2019m becoming more of a human in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt its peak, we had 80 people in this tiny flat. People that we didn\u2019t know were ringing the doorbell,\u201d co-singer Nico Sallach tells us. \u201cThey treated our flat like shit.
