Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson<\/a> Becker is expected to be sidelined for the next eight games, which includes fixtures against Chelsea<\/a>, Man United<\/a>, Man City<\/a> and Real Madrid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian suffered another hamstring injury, his fourth in the last two years, against Galatasaray on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Arne Slot<\/a> is expected to confirm the news in Friday\u2019s pre-Chelsea<\/a> press conference, but the reliable David Ornstein<\/a> of the Athletic brings the early news of the 33-year-old expecting to be out until the November international break.<\/p>\n

That means the \u2018keeper will miss Saturday\u2019s trip to Stamford Bridge, plus the seven games between the October international break and November\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Those seven games include two Champions League<\/a> ties away to Frankfurt and at home to Real Madrid<\/a>, plus league games with Man United<\/a>, Brentford<\/a>, Aston Villa<\/a> and Man City<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alisson<\/a> suffered four different injuries last season, missing a total of 31 games for club and country.<\/p>\n

Since signing for the Reds in 2018, he\u2019s missed 55 games so far, with this latest injury set to make that 63. It\u2019s a quite bizarre record for a goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

Only in two seasons was Alisson<\/a> consistently available (2018\/19 and 2022\/23), while in 2021\/22 he missed a single match due to COVID, but the recent trend does not make for great reading. <\/p>\n

The Brazilian boasts the worst injury record among the Premier League<\/a>\u2018s top goalkeepers, with Nick Pope the next closest with 44 games missed for Burnley<\/a> and Newcastle<\/a> combined.<\/p>\n
