A Cork business that aims to slash wait times for autism assessments has just unveiled plans for a major expansion.<\/p>\n
AutismCare, which was started by Cork entrepreneurs in 2024, has seen major uptake since its launch and offers services for children and adults. The business was co-founded by Leeside businessman Danny Buckley with a simple goal: helping families bypass the lengthy waitlists – that sometimes take multiple years – for an autism assessment in Ireland.<\/p>\n
Danny has been diagnosed with ADHD, and previously opened up to Cork Beo about how he wanted to use his own experience with the condition to help others.<\/a> He also launched another business, ADHD Now, to help “fast-track” diagnoses for that disorder.<\/p>\n Now, the team at AutismCare have unveiled a new expansion to their Cork office, adding five additional assessment rooms and a large sensory room.
