The official website for the television anime<\/a> of Oreko Tachibana<\/a>‘s Firefly Wedding<\/a> manga revealed a second teaser promotional video for the anime on Sunday. The website also revealed the ending theme song artist as well as more cast, and also revealed the anime will debut on October 9 and will air on Fuji TV<\/a>‘s Noitamina<\/a> programming block that airs on Fridays at 11:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

TOOBOE<\/a> performs the anime’s ending theme song “Yumegokochi” (Trance). The above video previews the song.<\/p>\n

Additional cast members include Kent It\u014d<\/a> as K\u014dtar\u014d Ogawa (pictured below left) and Kenjir\u014d Tsuda<\/a> as Mitsueda (below right).<\/p>\n

The anime will star: Lynn<\/a> as Satoko Kirigaya and K\u014dki Uchiyama<\/a> as Shinpei Got\u014d.<\/p>\n

Takahiro Kamei<\/a> (2022-2024’s Urusei Yatsura<\/a>) is directing the anime at\u00a0david production<\/a>, and\u00a0Yukiko Aikei<\/a>\u00a0(Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere<\/a>, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop<\/a>, Your Lie in April<\/a>) is designing the characters. Y\u016bko Kakihara<\/a> (2022-2024 Urusei Yatsura series, IRODUKU: The World in Colors<\/a>, Blue Box<\/a>) is overseeing and writing the series scripts, and NOGRID<\/a> is composing the music.<\/p>\n

Viz Media<\/a> publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story:<\/p>\n

On the surface, Satoko has it all\u2014she’s beautiful, the daughter of a nobleman, and at a prime age for marriage. Unfortunately, she is also quite ill and only has a short time left to live. Before she can secure a marriage that will redeem her worth in her family’s eyes, she finds herself the target of the mysterious assassin Shinpei, and her plans are put in jeopardy. In order to save herself, she makes a desperate proposal\u2014of marriage! When it comes to love, however, Shinpei takes \u201cuntil death do we part\u201d seriously.<\/p>\n

Tachibana launched the manga on\u00a0Shogakukan<\/a>‘s\u00a0Manga ONE<\/a> app in January 2023, and Shogakukan published the 12th volume on June 19.<\/p>\n
