Paramount+<\/p>\n

Lioness, Taylor Sheridan\u2019s hit military spy series starring Zoe Salda\u00f1a, Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Kelly, returns for its third season on Paramount+ on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Formerly known as Special Ops: Lioness, Sheridan\u2019s hit espionage thriller kicked off in July 2023 with Season 1 and returned with Season 2 in October 2024. Salda\u00f1a<\/a> stars in the series as Joe McNamara, a CIA station chief who heads the covert operation unit Lioness. <\/p>\n

Joe\u2019s mission is to recruit and train female soldiers for missions to fight the war on terror all over the global. Making Joe\u2019s life even more complicated is the delicate balance she tries to maintain with her family life at home because of the risky and unpredictable nature of her missions.<\/p>\n

In Season 3 of Lioness, Joe finds herself in a world where hidden networks, foreign operatives and personal betrayals collide. Guiding Joe on her team\u2019s most dangerous mission to date is CIA Clandestine Service supervisor Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman<\/a>) and CIA\u2019s Deputy Director of Operations Byron Westfield (Kelly), who work closely with U.S. Secretary of State Edwin Mullins (Freeman<\/a>).<\/p>\n
