\n\tPetal, Ariana Grande<\/a>\u2018s new studio album, tops this week\u2019s new music poll<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tListeners voted in a poll published Friday (July 31)\u00a0on\u00a0Billboard<\/a>, choosing the pop star\u2019s eight full-length LP as their favorite new music.<\/p>\n

\n\tPetal rose to the top in a week that included new music releases from Cardi B, Davido, Slayyyter and Shaboozey \u2014 plus a collab track from Erick Brian, Dale Pututi & Nesty, as well as one from Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez & Becky G \u2014 and more. By the poll\u2019s closing time on Sunday, Petal collected 41% of the vote.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrande\u2019s new album made its way to fans on Friday, mid-Eternal Sunshine Tour. <\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s the follow-up to 2024\u2019s Eternal Sunshine album, which spent three weeks atop the\u00a0Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tArriving with Grande\u2019s new 12-song collection was a satirical new music video that has her starring as Pepper, an actress on set playing a performer who tries over and over again to be \u201cgood enough\u201d for her ruthless critics \u2014 and who finally loses her cool, with the help of a chainsaw. The visual is set to Petal\u2018s title track, which is the second single from the album; it follows the Hot 100 No. 1 \u201cHate That I Made You Live Me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Sunday, it was reported Grande will take a break<\/a> from the public eye once her tour wraps.<\/p>\n

\n\tTrailing behind Petal on the poll: Erick Brian, Dale Pututi & Nesty\u2019s \u201cEf\u00edmero\u201d lands in second place, with 26% of the vote, followed by Cardi B\u2019s \u201cAH HA\u201d in third, with 18% of the vote. <\/p>\n
