The best kind of thrillers are the ones that make it easy to imagine what you’d do in the same scenario. Netflix’s The Last House<\/a> fits that bill perfectly, as it follows a family sealed into their own home with no way out.<\/p>\n

Greta Lee and Wagner Moura lead the new thriller about an “ordinary family’s worst nightmare”, with Lee promising that audiences are “definitely in for a surprise” when The Last House lands on Netflix this month.<\/p>\n

Focus Features<\/p>\n

Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson take on the “remarkable true story”<\/a> of Mike and Claire Sardina, who performed as Neil Diamond tribute band Lightning & Thunder. Incredibly, the movie actually leaves out the more shocking moments of their story<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Song Sung Blue<\/a> charts the highs and lows of the couple’s eventful lives that will confirm to you that life truly is stranger than fiction. Plus, it contains plenty of excellent songs \u2013 even if you can’t stand ‘Sweet Caroline’ now.<\/p>\n

Hamnet\"jessie<\/p>\n

Jessie Buckley deservedly won loads of awards for her performance in Hamnet<\/a>, Chlo\u00e9 Zhao’s extraordinary drama that will leave you devastated.<\/p>\n

Adapted from Maggie O’Farrell’s book of the same name, the film tells the fictional account of how William Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and his wife Agnes (Buckley) coped with the death of their 11-year-son Hamnet, which went on to inspire Shakespeare’s greatest-ever work.<\/p>\n

The Last Sunrise\"maia<\/p>\n

Prime Video is continuing its quest to become the go-to streaming service for young adult adaptations with The Last Sunrise, an adaptation of After author Anna Todd’s beloved book of the same name<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It follows Ry (Maia Reficco), a college student with a chronic illness, who unexpectedly falls for Juli\u00e1n (Fernando Lindez) while on a summer vacation with her mother (Eva Longoria). But as Ry begins to live in the moment, her worsening condition threatens to unravel everything before summer ends. <\/p>\n

The Whisper Man\"adam<\/p>\n

Netflix is sending us into the August Bank Holiday weekend in the UK with chilling serial killer thriller The Whisper Man<\/a>, starring Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, Adam Scott, and Hamish Linklater.<\/p>\n

Adapted from Alex North’s book of the same name<\/a>, the movie centres on an investigation into a serial killer who was supposedly arrested years ago but is evidently back in action now that children have begun disappearing. <\/p>\n
