Pic: Galway Races\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fitzy and Lola coupled up in the early stages of the 13th season of the reality dating competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They left the show, of their own accord, when their fellow islanders were tasked with choosing a couple to dump.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heading to the <a href=\"https:\/\/extra.ie\/2026\/08\/01\/entertainment\/love-island-fitzy-lola-galway\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galway Races<\/a> during the week, Fitzy joked that his partner was already a fellow Galwegian.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/seanfitzy-lola.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1798109\"  \/>Lola Deal and Sean \u201cFitzy\u201d Fitzgerald. Pic: Instagram\/ Fitzy<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following on from a day at the races, Fitzy returned to the pitch and lined out for his local GAA club, Barna.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 25-year-old was named on the starting 15 for the club against Caltra in the first round of the Galway Senior Football Championships.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fixture took place at Athentry\u2019s Kenny Park, with Lola among supporters on the day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"700\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Love-Island-22.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1790597\"  \/>Sean \u201cFitzy\u201d Fitzgerald and Lola Deal.
