He is also the longstanding Orange Order County Grand Master for Donegal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>David Mahon Properties Ltd is to seek planning permission from Donegal County Council for the 228-unit estate in the Glebe and Raforker townlands. Designed by William Donoghue Associates, the proposed development will comprise a varied mix of houses and apartments, together with a \u2018neighbourhood retail space\u2019, cr\u00e8che and extensive landscaped public open space.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-644186 size-full in-content-img not-prose w-full\" height=\"651\" width=\"auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/leading-orangeman-to-build-hundreds-of-homes-in-donegal.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-serif font-normal text-base leading-6 text-tertiary not-prose\"> An aerial picture of the David Mahon Properties&#8217; site (outlined in red) in Donegal Town.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 228 units, 71 will be made up of houses and 157 apartments.
