The former couple may once have been the pick of each other\u2019s crop (yes, pun intended), but their relationship quickly withered once the cameras stopped rolling.<\/p>\n
During the reunion, Alex and Eddy disagreed over exactly how much time they had spent together before the lawyer called it quits. <\/p>\n
While Alex claimed their relationship ended <\/a>after only a few weeks, Eddy maintained that it lasted closer to a month.<\/p>\n Now, Rachel \u2014 one of the women who competed for Alex\u2019s heart on the show \u2014 has publicly backed Eddy\u2019s version of events and confirmed it to WHO.<\/p>\n How would Rachel know the timeline of Eddy and Alex\u2019s relationship?<\/p>\n Call it messy or call it being a girl\u2019s girl, but Rachel took to the comments of a post shared by the official Farmer Wants A Wife Instagram account to claim Alex and Eddy had been together for a month before their split.<\/p>\n Her comment, which attracted close to 50 likes, read: \u201c[It] was definitely a month, everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n She later explained to WHO how she could possibly know the timeline of Eddy and Alex\u2019s relationship. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m really good friends with Eddy and talk to her daily,\u201d she confessed. \u201cI know what\u2019s going on in her life.\u201d<\/p>\n The disputed timeline became a major source of tension during the reunion, with Alex arguing Eddy had ended their relationship before they were given a genuine chance to make things work in the real world.<\/p>\n Eddy, however, saw things differently. <\/p>\n She said that spending time away from the mushroom farmer only confirmed that they weren\u2019t right for one another.<\/p>\n Eddy broke up with Farmer Alex over the phone<\/p>\n Speaking to WHO, Eddy explained that she had been away for work following filming and was initially only supposed to be gone for two weeks. <\/p>\n Her trip was then extended.<\/p>\n \u201cI was supposed to be only gone for two weeks, and I ended up having to stay for close to four weeks,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce we had that break from each other, I was like, \u2018I can\u2019t do this anymore\u2026 We shouldn\u2019t be together.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n In a move she later questioned, Eddy decided to end their relationship over FaceTime.<\/p>\n \u201cI was like, \u2018Should I have waited until I got home?\u2019 But I felt it was more unfair to wait and make him think that things were okay when they weren\u2019t,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cI felt in that moment that it was the most fair and appropriate thing to do. Just end it.\u201d<\/p>\n Eddy went on to claim that the version of Alex she got to know on camera was worlds apart from the man she spent time with once filming wrapped.<\/p>\n \u201cOnce things had stopped filming, I think I got to know the real Alex \u2014 not in any sort of negative way, but maybe the less polished version of him,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt just became so apparent.
