Coronation Street star Amy Robbins<\/a> has revealed that one of her character Christina Boyd’s friendships will soon be in jeopardy, as her bossy nature will put her bond with Todd Grimshaw to the test.<\/p>\n

Christina and Todd recently had their differences as Christina battled a secret shopping addiction<\/a> that saw her take out credit cards in the names of her friends Mary and Glenda. Although Todd initially covered for Christina, the scam caused cash flow problems for her boyfriend George, and Todd has since jetted off to Thailand<\/a> to visit his mum Eileen. <\/p>\n

Sitting down with Inside Soap at the Corrie nominees photoshoot ahead of the Inside Soap<\/a> Awards, Amy exclusively revealed that there’s more drama to come for Christina and Todd once he returns from his travels.<\/p>\n

“I think Todd and Christina have things in common,” Amy mused. “They\u2019re both a bit damaged so they both cover it for each other. She has a very maternal feeling towards him, but Todd doesn\u2019t really like to be mothered.<\/p>\n

“And that\u2019s Gareth [Pierce aka Todd] in real life too. I\u2019m constantly checking he\u2019s okay as he\u2019s got his family and had this huge story, but he just goes, ‘Don\u2019t bother me!’<\/p>\n

“But we will see Christina take a hard line with Todd soon. She pulls everyone into line. She thinks she\u2019s the boss of the world!”<\/p>\n

Todd and Christina are currently flatmates, living with Glenda, George and Mary, too \u2013 and Amy also revealed that she loves being a part of that dynamic.<\/p>\n

“Oh, what a wonderful household that is, considering none of us are really related to each other,” she enthused.<\/p>\n

“I think it\u2019s one of the strongest families going. And how do they all fit in that house? We all must sleep top to tail with each other!”
