Coronation Street sees suspicions grow for Fiz Dobbs after Ross Wilkes’ involvement in Cassie Plummer leaving the cobbles becomes clearer.

The soap has seen Cassie announcing her departure after she took a cleaning job on a cruise ship, but the last fans saw of her made her fear for her safety. As she accepted a ride from Ross, their conversation quickly escalated as she made him admit he’d spiked Tracy Barlow to get rid of her.<\/p>\n

With Cassie’s fate left ambiguous<\/a>, today’s episode has the villain caught in a lie at the Rovers. Steve McDonald enquires about Cassie, with Ross feigning ignorance. <\/p>\n

Steve says he saw Cassie getting into Ross’ car, with Ross being forced to tweak his version of events, admitting he’d driven Cassie to Piccadilly Station as she was probably on her way to the airport.<\/p>\n

While Steve seems satisfied with Ross’s version of events, Fiz is uncomfortable. Tyrone joins them with some good news for Ross, saying that Kevin Webster has agreed to rent him his spare room.<\/p>\n

Fiz makes it clear she knows something is off with Ross, pointing out how he acted surprised when he found out that Cassie had left and then proceeded to lie to Steve.<\/p>\n

“I’ll let that slide, for now,” Fiz told Ross. “But if you put one foot out of line, you’re gonna be back in Warrington before you know what’s hit you.”<\/p>\n
