Love Island winners Julia and Lorenzo battled through yet another awkward interview as she accused him of ’embarrassing her’ by liking other women’s Instagrams.<\/p>\n

The couple scooped the \u00a350,000 prize during the live final in Mallorca last week but since landing back in the UK they have only been on one date and had a car crash This Morning interview amid fears they’ve already split.<\/p>\n

And on Tuesday they headed to Capital XTRA for a chat where they were asked about Lorenzo liking photos posted by female models on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Julia then raged:\u00a0‘Guys, this is not funny. He’s already embarrassed me online… He had no time to arrange a date in five days, but was sat in bed liking other girls’ Instagram pictures.’<\/p>\n

Lorenzo then tried to explain himself by saying: ‘This is the thing. I feel like why I didn’t want to rush things in the villa…\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘We’re not running around getting married tomorrow. I’m learning how to be in a committed relationship, and I’m learning what is acceptable and what is not.’<\/p>\n

He continued: ‘To be 100 per cent honest, it was pure naivety. I did not think it would be picked up by the press…[him liking models’ Instagrams] These are now real-world things that we can experience together.’<\/p>\n

Julia then took out her phone to see if Lorenzo had liked her own Instagram pictures – but he had not.<\/p>\n

She then said: ‘Did you even have time to like my photos? Guess what guys, he’s not under my Instagram!’<\/p>\n

Lorenzo laughed off the moment saying her posts hadn’t come up on his feed yet.<\/p>\n

It comes after their awkward This Morning interview earlier this week – which was the first time they had been seen together since landing in the UK from Mallorca.<\/p>\n

Josie Gibson asked a squirming Lorenzo: ‘Now there’s a lot of rumours that you’re not together… Are you together – and what is this terminology?’\u00a0<\/p>\n

As Julia sat stony-faced beside him, Lorenzo then replied: ‘As we’ve left the villa, we’re still in the same place, exclusively dating\u2026’<\/p>\n

To which Julia cut in: ‘Yes, we are still dating’.<\/p>\n

Lorenzo said it’s been a ‘crazy few days’ since the final and that he believes ‘everything needs to settle down’ and then ‘we’re going to go on some lovely dates’.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Over the weekend it emerged that Lorenzo had ‘liked’ the photos of several stunning content creators since his villa exit<\/p>\n

Julia then bluntly replied: ‘Where’s the date?’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Josie then asked whether the couple had said the ‘L\u2013word’ yet, to which Lorenzo replied: ‘No but it’s going that way.’<\/p>\n

‘Feelings are developing, it’s in the right position\u2026 so I feel like give it some time\u2026’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The clothing business owner then said he planned to take Julia to a rooftop bar for their first date.<\/p>\n

She responded: ‘When?’ and later on said yet again: ‘When’s my date?’ before awkwardly asking him: ‘When was the last time we saw each other?’<\/p>\n

Lorenzo then said the date had ‘a lot of planning involved’.<\/p>\n

They did that evening go for dinner together and posted to their socials but that appears to be the only date they have been on since leaving the villa.<\/p>\n

And fans aren’t convinced they actually are together, as they penned on X:\u00a0‘He basically used her to get to the final with ZERO consideration for the fact he was playing with Julia’s feelings to achieve it.,’<\/p>\n

‘I’ve never seen a winning couple look the most unconvincing among the finalists and so unconvincing about their own connection or win.’<\/p>\n

Last week Love Island fans shared their concerns that they had already split after he was spotted ‘liking’ girls’ Instagrams.<\/p>\n

They revealed towards the end of the series that they were ‘exclusively dating’ and no longer interested in anyone else in or out of the ITV2 villa.<\/p>\n

However, some viewers of the show thought it wasn’t appropriate for Lorenzo, 28, to be showing interest in other women by liking a series of models snaps.<\/p>\n

Some even took it as evidence that Lorenzo and Julia have decided to go their separate ways.<\/p>\n

Sharing their thoughts online fans wrote on X: ‘Is there a Love Island winners curse? Because they haven’t Lorenzo and Julia posted each other.’<\/p>\n

Another person referenced the fact that All Stars winners Samie Elishi and Ciaran Davies broke up after this year’s season, writing: ‘Not even a week this is worse than Scamie and Ciaran.’<\/p>\n

Sharing a selection of the photos Lorenzo had liked, another said: ‘So how many more days til Julie & Lorenzo post black screens on their Instagram Stories’.<\/p>\n

Others wrote: ‘I’m really disappointed Lorenzo damn man u have a girl but you can’t keep ur hands off liking other womans pics on insta, ur so bad wtf! Our Yulia deserves better’; ‘How can their be a rough patch they weren’t even a ‘couple’. Scamology 101 and y’all fell for it.’<\/p>\n

‘It doesn’t matter whether Lorenzo knows we see his likes. Or whether he doesn’t think it’s a big deal. It’s not about him. All that matters is Julia. If she’s okay with it.<\/p>\n
