\n\tSeveral weeks after the release of \u201cMorning Dew (Donk),\u201d Bey surprise-releases the \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d Remix Pack, a four-pack with two cuts featuring the talents of her hubby, the hip-hop superstar Jay-Z.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe EP dropped in the small hours of Wednesday morning (Aug. 5), alerted to the Beyhive by way of a social post from Parkwood Entertainment<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tWritten by Beyonc\u00e9, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, Beyonce announced \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d on the 4th of July weekend, an official release closing a chapter on demos leaked in recent years.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the Remix Pack, Jay-Z \u2014 he\u2019s listed as JA\u0178-Z (with an umlaut over the \u201cY\u201d) \u2014 jumps in with a fresh rhyme. \u201cTop of the top, sloppy as a morning dew \/ the watch is vintage, I don\u2019t need nothing new \/ coming through Malibu in the old school,\u201d he raps. Jay\u2019s vocals also appear on an \u201cacoustic\u201d version. <\/p>\n

\n\tBeyonce returned to the top 10 of\u00a0Billboard\u2019s\u00a0Hot R&B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a>\u00a0chart for the first time in three years as \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d bowed at No. 7 on the tally dated July 18. Meanwhile, \u201cMorning Dew\u201d started at No. 3 on\u00a0Hot R&B Songs<\/a>\u00a0and No. 26 on the\u00a0Billboard Hot 100<\/a>, becoming her 61st top 40 title.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song was,\u00a0reportedly<\/a>,\u00a0recorded back in 2013 around the\u00a0Beyonc\u00e9\u00a0album era; a snippet leaked in 2021 before a fuller version made its way online two years later, even sparking\u00a0TikTok trends<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMorning Dew\u201d will appear on a\u00a020th anniversary<\/a>\u00a0deluxe edition of Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s sophomore album,\u00a0B\u2019Day. The set, released in September 2006,\u00a0debuted at No. 1<\/a>\u00a0on the Billboard 200 and ignited the smash \u201cIrreplaceable,\u201d the 2007 year-end Hot 100 No. 1 single. Additional hits included \u201cBeautiful Liar,\u201d with Shakira (No. 3), \u201cDeja Vu,\u201d feat. Jay-Z (No. 4) and \u201cRing the Alarm\u201d (No. 11).<\/p>\n
