{"id":584076,"date":"2026-08-05T15:52:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-05T15:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/584076\/"},"modified":"2026-08-05T15:52:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-05T15:52:09","slug":"salah-in-istanbul-to-finalise-trabzonspor-switch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/584076\/","title":{"rendered":"Salah in Istanbul to finalise Trabzonspor switch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mohamed Salah has arrived in Istanbul wearing a Trabzonspor shirt to finalise a move to the Turkish Super Lig side.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of fans were on hand to greet the former Liverpool forward at Ataturk Airport after the club announced on Tuesday evening that he would travel to Trabzon via Istanbul.<\/p>\n<p>In a video posted on the club&#8217;s social media accounts, Salah said: &#8220;Trabzon, are you ready? I can hear you. The other six came during a golden period between 1976 and 1984.<\/p>\n<p>Trabzonspor finished third last season, eight points behind champions Galatasaray, and face a play-off against opponents to be determined to qualify for the league phase of the Europa League.
