A motorcyclist in his 50s has died following a road traffic collision in Co Cork.<\/p>\n
The incident involving a motorbike and van occurred at 2.30pm on the R587 near Gloun North, Dunmanway, Co Cork.<\/p>\n
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
No other injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n
The road was closed for examination by forensic collision investigators but has since reopened.<\/p>\n
Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.<\/p>\n
Any road users travelling in the area between 2.15pm and 3.00pm who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make it available to garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n
