This will allegedly slot in between the Galaxy Fit and the Galaxy Watch FE in price, and it&#8217;s codenamed Galaxy Aero.<\/p>\n<p>It runs RTOS and references to it have been found inside the Galaxy Wearable app&#8217;s code, which describes it as a watch with a screen. It&#8217;s likely that this will have the standard set of sensors you\u2019d expect from a smartwatch, and given the fact that it&#8217;s not running Wear OS, it should have week-long (or even weeks-long) battery life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" alt=\"Samsung Galaxy Watch9\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1786013409_630_gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\nSamsung Galaxy Watch9<\/p>\n<p>What isn&#8217;t known yet is whether it will have a circular, rectangular, or square display. As for the name, since Galaxy Aero seems to just be a codename, it&#8217;s very possible that it will be called something else when it finally launches.
