Hollyoaks<\/a> fans have spotted a major spoiler in a TikTok video<\/a> shared by Steph Waring. The actor returned to the role of Cindy Cunningham<\/a> in the soap after being axed back in 2024.<\/p>\n

The actor took to TikTok to thank fans for their support while on set, saying to the camera: “As you know, if you\u2019re watching, Cindy was arrested this week, so what do you think \u2013 is she innocent or guilty? Because anything can happen in Hollyoaks.”<\/p>\n

While fans were excited to celebrate Steph’s return to the village<\/a>, they were also quick to point out three missing photos seemingly strategically shown in the social media clip.<\/p>\n

Posters searching for Ste Hay, Leela Lomax, and Mercedes McQueen can all be seen while Steph talks to the camera, confirming an upcoming major storyline for the soap.<\/p>\n

The missing poster for Ste, who is currently struggling with grief<\/a> following the loss of his husband Rex Gallagher<\/a>, says that he was last seen on 2 September in Leicestershire.<\/p>\n

It continues: “Ste is vulnerable and may need help. If you\u2019ve seen him, spoken to him or know where he might be, please contact the police or get in touch with his family.”<\/p>\n

Leela has become intensely suspicious of James Nightingale<\/a> following his return, which just so happened to coincide with Rex’s death.<\/p>\n

While trying to get to the bottom of what happened to Rex<\/a>, she has also questioned her own brother Ste<\/a> and what his involvement could be.<\/p>\n

How Mercedes could tie into this storyline is unclear, but she has put herself in a dangerous position elsewhere, engaging in a fierce feud with newcomer Jenson Cole<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He arrived in the village with a hidden agenda – to destroy Warren Fox, his half-brother and Mercedes’ ex.<\/p>\n

Jenson and Mercedes struck up a romance, with the former going as far as to get on one knee and propose<\/a>, but Mercedes has been conspiring behind his back<\/a> to take him down. <\/p>\n

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/p>\n
