<\/p>\nAll Creatures Great and Small actor Maimie McCoy has hinted at what\u2019s to come between Dorothy and Siegfried in the upcoming seventh season.<\/p>\n
Fans of the 5 series, which is set in 1930s and 1940s Northern England, will remember that McCoy\u2019s Dorothy shared a kiss with Siegfried, who is played by Samuel West, during the 2025 Christmas special.<\/p>\n
However, the pair first met – and also kissed – one another back in 2020 during season one, but it wasn\u2019t meant to be as Dorothy soon left Darrowby and headed to Malta, where she remained until the end of the war.<\/p>\n
Upon her return to the Yorkshire Dales in the festive episode, Dorothy enjoyed another sweet moment with the vet under some mistletoe in The Drovers – and now that she\u2019s staying put, it seems there could be more to come.<\/p>\n

Related: Best streaming services<\/a><\/p>\n Speaking to Radio Times<\/a>, McCoy teased: “There’s lots that connects them, which I think is really lovely.\u201d However, she didn’t divulge any further details on whether the pair’s romance could be back on the cards.<\/p>\n Instead, McCoy was keen to comment on the friendship between Dorothy and Mrs Audrey Hall, who is played by Anna Madeley. <\/p>\n \u201cBut as much as the relationship with Siegfried was interesting, the one that was really special to me was the one with Mrs Hall,” she explained. <\/p>\n “I think sometimes that gets overlooked because we want to focus on the romance, but they’ve been in the Wrens (Women’s Royal Naval Service) together, they’ve gone through a huge amount in terms of their journey as women through and past the war, so to go back and to give that more depth and to show more was really, really quite special,\u201d McCoy added.<\/p>\n Channel 5<\/p>\n She revealed that she’s “always had a really soft spot” for her costar Madeley, describing her as \u201cquite a talent\u201d.<\/p>\n Speaking about her return to the 5 series, McCoy said it had been “a gorgeous experience\u201d, before adding: “You never quite know where stories are going to take you.”<\/p>\n She also said that All Creatures Great and Small “has a really special place\u201d in her heart \u201cbecause it’s very close to where I grew up”.<\/p>\n All Creatures Great and Small returns on 5 later this year.<\/p>\n![\"anna](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/anna-madeley-all-creatures-great-and-small-season-6-68d3a3c1dbb05.jpg\" "\\"Anna")
