This Sunday sees the last All-Ireland finals of the season as the best of the best in camogie come together for a triple-header at Croke Park.<\/p>\n
Cavan and Armagh get going at noon in the premier junior final, with Laois and Antrim throwing in at 2pm in the intermediate final.<\/p>\n
Then at 4.15pm we have a battle between heavyweights Cork and modern-day powerhouse Galway to crown the 2026 All-Ireland senior camogie champions.<\/p>\n

Camogie All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship final<\/p>\n

Armagh are carrying a fair bit of baggage into this one. The county has two titles to their name, one as recently as 2020, but since then they have been runners-up three times, including last year’s defeat to Laois.<\/p>\n
This is their fifth final in seven seasons, and they will be looking to get rid of the demons and climb up the Hogan Stand steps once again.<\/p>\n
Armagh got to this stage after a very high scoring semi-final against Roscommon that saw their attacking talent come to the fore. An unanswered 2-03 scoring spree in the second half powered them to a 4-19 to 2-19 win in Kingspan Breffni. A goal each for Corinna Doyle and Sinead Quinn and a double from five-time finalist Rachael Trainor was the difference.<\/p>\n
Camogie in Cavan hit some dark days last year. They did not exist. Low numbers and low interest saw the board pull the plug on the team, but an improving Under-23 team was the clincher for a return to junior camogie.<\/p>\n
Since then, they have won all five group games and swept away Kildare in the semi-final with a 2-12 to 1-09 win. This exuberance of youth means that this season could mark a positive change that could last for many more years to come.<\/p>\n
Two teams in completely different boats, Armagh looking to right the wrongs of recent final defeats, and Cavan with a chance to get somewhere they have never been before. There is a lot to be gained in the Premier Junior final.<\/p>\n

Camogie All-Ireland Intermediate Championship final<\/p>\n
Laois v Antrim; Croke Park, 2pm<\/p>\n
Last year Laois won the Premier Junior title, and their good form has clearly transferred over to intermediate level.<\/p>\n
This is their first year at intermediate and they will need a huge performance to beat favourites Antrim, who competed two divisions above them in the Centra League this year.<\/p>\n
Laois convincingly beat Kerry in the semi-final by seven points on a 1-17 to 2-07 scoreline. Despite conceding a goal in each half, Laois were the better team on the day and were fully deserving of their win. It will be a much bigger test in Croke Park this Sunday.<\/p>\n
Antrim will go into this game with confidence after a very impressive championship so far. They won their group games by 17 points, 10 points and eight points respectively. In their semi-final, they beat Meath by seven, scoring three goals in the process. Eobha McAllister and Cliona Griffin both found the net, McAllister with a double.<\/p>\n
The Ulster outfit are back in their first intermediate final since their captain Lucia McNaughton lifted the Jack McGrath Cup in 2021, marking the third win for the county.<\/p>\n
Will it be another professional performance by Antrim, or could Laois upset the odds?<\/p>\n

Camogie All-Ireland Senior Championship final<\/p>\n

The final game of the day involves two of the big guns in camogie.<\/p>\n
For the third time in a row, Galway and Cork face off in the senior final.<\/p>\n
Back in 2021, Galway won by three points, and since then the final fixture between the sides has continued to be decided by a single strike of the sliotar.<\/p>\n
The 2024 decider saw Cork win 1-16 to 0-16. After some fantastic work by Amy O\u2019Connor, it was Katrina Mackey who managed to force the ball over the line to get the all-important goal.<\/p>\n
Last year, in 2025, Galway got the win in an enthralling encounter, ending Cork\u2019s hopes for three in-a-row. Carrie Dolan scored the final point of the game, a free in the second minute of stoppage time, to win it for Galway by one point.<\/p>\n
This season saw more of the same by the two counties.<\/p>\n
Galway got through in second place in their group to automatically qualify for the semi-finals. With a record crowd for a semi-final double header of 10,311 at FBD Semple Stadium, they then met a hungry Kilkenny team, beating them by a score line of 1-14 to 0-11 – Carrie Dolan once again performing in clutch moments as she scored the only goal from a penalty.<\/p>\n
After a tough start to the season, Cork have got things back on track in the championship, including a seven-point group stage win over their final opponents.<\/p>\n
An experienced troupe including the likes of Amy O’Connor, Amy Lee, Libby Coppinger, Laura Hayes and Ashling Thompson has been bolstered by newcomers like Ava Fitzgerald and Millie Condon.<\/p>\n
Their fantastic start over Tipperary was enough to get them over the line in the semi-final. Two first-half goals by O\u2019Connor and Condon had them in control at half-time. Tipperary pushed in the second half, but Cork held on, helped by an outstanding save by goalkeeper Amy Lee to reach their sixth successive All-Ireland final.<\/p>\n
There has been some wonderful trilogies in sport, and this one has all the ingredients to be another. A final that is very close to call.<\/p>\n
