Daniel Kinahan is expected to be extradited to Ireland later, following the arrival of the Government jet in the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n
The 49-year-old has been detained in Dubai since last April, following his arrest under a warrant issued by the Irish courts.<\/p>\n
A large-scale security operation is planned in Dublin ahead of the expected arrival of Mr Kinahan at Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnell.<\/p>\n
Mr Kinahan lost his final appeal against his extradition from the UAE.<\/p>\n
He is expected to arrive on the Government’s new Falcon 6X jet before he is taken to the Special Criminal Court.<\/p>\n
The security operation will involve armed garda\u00ed, the Defence Forces, and the Irish Prison Service, which recently purchased a bulletproof and bomb-proof escort van that can be used to move criminal gang leaders, terrorists, and other inmates deemed high-risk.<\/p>\n
