Newly released images have offered a haunting glimpse into Liam Payne\u2019s final hours at the Buenos Aires hotel where the former One Direction star died.<\/p>\n
The photographs form part of a police dossier containing more than 3,000 documents and images gathered during the investigation into the singer\u2019s death.<\/a> Payne, 31, died on October 16, 2024, after falling from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room<\/a> in Argentina.<\/p>\n Among the images are CCTV pictures showing Payne speaking with two women in the hotel lobby before they accompanied him towards his room. The women, Aldana Serrano and Lucila Goitea, later spoke to police about their time with the singer.<\/p>\n Haunting images show the One Direction star, 31, speaking to two call girls in the hotel lobby before leading them to his room as well as staff bringing him up chilled buckets of booze.(Image: Argentina Police)<\/p>\n Other images show hotel staff taking buckets containing bottles of alcohol towards Payne\u2019s room. The newly seen material gives another glimpse into the events leading up to the fatal fall, while investigators gathered CCTV footage, receipts and witness statements as part of their probe.<\/p>\n Serrano and Goitea told police they had consensual sex with Payne on the day he died. They also claimed the singer serenaded them with his own songs before asking about cocaine.<\/p>\n The pair alleged Payne argued with them over the agreed $5,000 (\u00a33,700) payment because he did not have cash available. The images also include a CCTV grab taken around an hour before Payne died, in which he appears withdrawn.<\/p>\n Payne had been alone in Buenos Aires after his girlfriend Kate Cassidy and friend Rogelio \u2018Roger\u2019 Nores had left the country. Messages included in the police dossier show hotel manager Gilda Martin warning colleagues about his conduct.<\/p>\n In a ‘Reception’ WhatsApp chat, she wrote: \u201cThis person is going to be very intense throughout his stay. \u201cIt\u2019s important that we tell him \u2018no\u2019, always kindly and with excuses.\u201d<\/p>\n A colleague replied: \u201cWill do whatever we can.\u201d<\/p>\n On another occasion, a waitress called Adri was asked to deliver five bottles of whisky to Room 301 and was reportedly told: \u201cTake security with you.\u201d<\/p>\n Receipts included in the dossier show Payne spent more than $600,000 on bottles of Johnnie Walker whisky on the day of his death.<\/p>\n Liam seen on CCTV(Image: Argentina Police)<\/p>\n The singer\u2019s father Geoff Payne later gave an account to prosecutors following his son\u2019s death.<\/p>\n He said his son was \u201cnot in control with what he did\u201d, adding: \u201cHe was not Liam\u201d.<\/p>\n A toxicology report conducted after Payne\u2019s death found cocaine, alcohol and the sedative Klonopin in his system at the time of the fatal fall.<\/p>\n Two men, hotel worker Ezequiel Pereyra, 22, and waiter Braian Paiz, 26, have been charged with supplying drugs to the singer.
