The Office actress Lucy Davis has said she was diagnosed with \u201cincurable\u201d stage-four breast cancer.<\/p>\n
The 53-year-old actress, who is the daughter of comedian Jasper Carrott, is best known for playing Dawn Tinsley in the BBC sitcom.<\/p>\n
In a post shared on Tuesday she said was diagnosed a year and a half ago and the cancer has \u201cmetastasized\u201d to her bones including her spine, right hip and ribs, and it is \u201ctoo late\u201d for chemotherapy.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cAs of now, I\u2019m trying to live out whatever might be left of my life in as fun a way as I possibly can.<\/p>\n
\u201cI always like to find the teachable moments in anything negative that happens. And cancer has not disappointed in that regard; there\u2019s a lot I have learned from it, and I\u2019m grateful for that.<\/p>\n
