On Monday night, Matthew McConaughey was accompanied by his family at the screening of his new movie \u201cRivals of Amzeah King\u201d in Australia.<\/p>\n
It was a rare public appearance with Matthew being joined by his wife Camila Alves and their three kids Levi, 18, Vida, 16 and Livingston, 13.<\/p>\n
For the special night, Matthew opted for a navy suit, with his son Livingston following suit in a lighter gray shade. His daughter Vida wore a black dress, while Camila and Levi opted for more casual looks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Earlier this year, Matthew explained how fatherhood changes a man.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on \u201cBear Grylls Is Running Wild,\u201d McConaughey said, \u201cI think a man\u2019s a prince until he has children, then he becomes a king. I don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything more important that a man can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
He went on,\u00a0\u201cIn fact, man, we\u2019re mortal. That\u2019s the beginning of our immortality, and hopefully, we\u2019re lucky enough for them to have offspring, and it continues to pass that down. I think that\u2019s the greatest art that a man can make is being a good father to a son or a daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Last year, Matthew and Levi worked together on \u201cThe Lost Bus.\u201d<\/p>\n
Levi discussed the pressure of being Matthew\u2019s son, telling People magazine<\/a>, \u201cYeah, it\u2019s just starting. And as much as people can say, \u2018Oh, you got this because of your father or your mother,\u2019 they can open the door, but then it\u2019s going to be up to me to do my thing once I get in there. That\u2019s on me.\u201d<\/p>\n
