They both applied to the Troubles Permanent Disability Payment Scheme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">At the time, Larkin said she expected the process to be completed within 12 months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">However, her and her father&#8217;s case are being re-assessed after they were previously denied payment. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;It was very re-traumatising,&#8221; she told Good Morning Ulster programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">&#8220;I found myself in situations that were completely unexpected.
