NBC has revealed the cast for the first-ever all-civilian season of \u201cThe Traitors: New Blood.\u201d <\/p>\n

On Aug. 12, the network shared the 22 reality television newbies who fans will see move into the mysterious Scottish Highlands castle and compete to win up to $250,000. The cast list also featured the unveiling of each contestant\u2019s mischievous headshot, a tease of their portraits that will hang in the breakfast room. That is until they are either murdered or banished and host Alan Cumming playfully discards them.<\/p>\n

The 22 competitors were hand-selected from over 80,000 applicants, NBC said in a press release. They will usher in a new era for the U.S. version of the franchise, which has only featured celebrity contestants in the four seasons currently streaming on Peacock.<\/p>\n

Viewers can see the players compete when the first two episodes of \u201cThe Traitors: New Blood\u201d air on Thursday, Sept. 17 on NBC at 8 p.m ET\/PT. The episodes will be part of a special two-hour extended premiere. They will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock. <\/p>\n

New episodes will continue to arrive every Thursday at the same time on the network. <\/p>\n
