Exclusive: At just 22 years old, Robert Irwin<\/a> is set to become the youngest-ever Logies<\/a> host when he ditches the khakis for the golden mic this Sunday. <\/p>\n

But even Irwin admits he\u2019s living a \u201cHannah Montana\u201d double life, as the young star revealed where his heart truly lies. <\/p>\n

\u201cGoing from Australia Zoo to the Logies is a bit of a Hannah Montana situation,\u201d he acknowledged, speaking with nine.com.au. <\/p>\n

The morning of the interview, Irwin had just flown in from a crocodile research trip in Cape York where he was \u201cneck deep in mangrove mud\u201d. <\/p>\n

Come Sunday night he\u2019ll be in a shiny tux. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhile my heart definitely beats for Australia Zoo, you know, representing that wildlife warrior attitude, I do find there are a lot of different ways I can get that message out there,\u201d he explained. <\/p>\n

\u201cDoing something like the Logies, while it might seem very different to catching crocodiles, is a way to amplify the message of wildlife conservation to a completely new platform and audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, really it does feel like it\u2019s all part of one big beautiful job.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Sunday comes around, the young wildlife warrior hopes to pay tribute to his late dad, Steve Irwin<\/a>, who was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame in 2007.<\/p>\n

His dad also famously brought a live snake to the Logies stage in 2003. <\/p>\n

The 22-year-old has his own plans to bring a \u201cspecial guest\u201d he revealed. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to have some guests with me that are going to make things very … nerve-wracking for everybody else in the room,\u201d he announced with a cheeky smile. <\/p>\n

\u201cProbably not so much for me, but for everybody else. So watch out.\u201d <\/p>\n

Speaking on the Today<\/a> show on Friday, Irwin teased \u201cloose and fun\u201d night as the biggest night of Aussie TV kicks off this Sunday. <\/p>\n

Irwin caught up with nine.com.au.\u00a0Nine<\/p>\n

He revealed mum Terri and sister Bindi will be \u201cputting GPS tags on crocodiles\u201d while watching live through their satellite connection in Cape York. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd it\u2019s no after party for me,\u201d he told the Today hosts. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m straight back on a plane up to catch crocs, which for some reason feels safer than an after party at the Logies,\u201d he laughed.<\/p>\n
