An insider has revealed that Bradley Barcola is desperate to join Liverpool<\/a> and is frustrated with current events, while Fabrizio Romano has stated two wingers are wanted at Anfield.<\/p>\n

The Reds clearly want to replace Mohamed Salah this summer. They have some promising young wingers in Rio Ngumoha and new signing Victor Munoz, but Barcola could become a player who could match his impact soon enough.<\/p>\n

Liverpool have been pressing for the Paris Saint-Germain winger for weeks, and progress has been slow.<\/p>\n

Barcola frustrated at progress<\/p>\n

Per credible French journalist Sebastien Vidal, Barcola<\/a> is \u2018increasingly frustrated\u2019 with the current situation.<\/p>\n

He reports the French winger \u2018views a move to Liverpool<\/a> very favourably\u2019 and is evidently attracted to a move to Anfield.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s amid the suggestion that he\u2019s not going to get a lot of game time in a competitive PSG attack.<\/p>\n

But they want to earn \u00a3145million from Barcola\u2019s sale, Liverpool believed a deal of \u00a3120million is fair for the wide man.<\/p>\n

Liverpool want two wingers<\/p>\n

Liverpool were also interested in signing fellow PSG winger Ibrahim Mbaye, but knowing what they\u2019ll have to splash to land Barcola, they\u2019re reported to have exited the pursuit.<\/p>\n

They still want two more wingers to add to the mix this summer<\/a>, though, per insider Romano.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cIbrahim Mbaye. Liverpool spoke with the agent of the player, Jorge Mendes, for several days.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut my information is that [Liverpool] believe that signing Barcola and Mbaye means spending almost \u20ac200m (\u00a3171m). So that would be a crazy package to spend on two players.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy understanding is that Liverpool\u2019s plan is to sign two wingers by the end of the window, especially if Cody Gakpo goes to Tottenham.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Gakpo goes to Tottenham, and Liverpool sign Barcola, there is still space for one more winger.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut at the moment, the price made by PSG for Mbaye is considered too expensive.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that Gakpo is being pursued is clear, with Romano issuing an update<\/a> on his future elsewhere.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cMore movements are expected at Tottenham in the next days, because don\u2019t forget their top targets remain two players: one is Cody Gakpo, the other one is Savinho.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the wings, they are working on these two deals.\u201d<\/p>\n
