‘The Challenge’ star Tyler Duckworth found dead at home: Here’s what we know<\/p>\n

Tyler Duckworth, who won two seasons of MTV\u2019s The Challenge, has passed away at the age of 44.<\/p>\n

The TV star’s mom, Joni, announced his death on social media on Thursday, August 13.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week. Cause of death has yet to be determined,\u201d she penned on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will post on Facebook about services as soon as his dad and I figure it out,” added Tyler’s mom.<\/p>\n

As per The Sun, Tyler was discovered unresponsive in his bathroom on Tuesday, August 11.<\/p>\n

This case has been classified as an “unattended death,” meaning there were no witnesses present at the scene.<\/p>\n

An insider spilled to a publication that the reality star had recently undergone surgery, although it\u2019s unclear if that contributed to his death.<\/p>\n

As the news of Tyler’s death broke, his Challenge castmates took to their social media handles to express their sorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cLife is crazy. RIP Mighty Duckworth! You were so vibrant 2 weeks ago, it\u2019s so wild to imagine your vibrant energy no longer here,”\u00a0Paulie Calafiore wrote.<\/p>\n

“Sending prayers and love to your family and friends. The Challenge fam lost a legend,” he added.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tina Barta also shared a long message on Instagram paying tribute to Tyler.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to find the right words when someone who was part of such a meaningful chapter of your life is suddenly gone,\u201d she began.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tine further penned, \u201cWe shared an experience that very few people will ever fully understand, and somewhere along the way, it became more than a show or an adventure. It became friendship. It became history. It became family.\u201d<\/p>\n
