Since the first flight of the Myst\u00e8re-Falcon 20 in 1963, the French manufacturer\u2019s variants have proven to be a hit, resulting in over 2.750 deliveries more than sixty years later. The arrival of these successful business jets is thanks to the perseverance of Marcel Bloch, the founder of what is now Dassault Aviation. He also succeeded in integrating available technological developments early on into the development, construction, and maintenance of both civil and military aircraft.<\/p>\n
This Dutch-language book focuses on the development and construction of the ten Falcon variants produced by Dassault Aviation in separate chapters, including \u201cFalcons with a Story.\u201d<\/p>\n
There are special features to report about each type variant in Belgium and Holland, such as Falcons in service with the Belgian Air Force, the Philips Aviation Service, Shell, or the recent acquisition of F1 icon Max Verstappen (a Falcon 8X). Attention is also paid to CATIA, the production and maintenance of Falcons and the training of pilots.
