Skills that he has acquired over a very long career, skills that make him a nightmare for people like\u2026 whoever is holding his daughter hostage. We don\u2019t actually know who that is from the first trailer for Last Seen, but you\u2019ll see why our minds <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avclub.com\/taken-15-years-later-redefined-a-genre-1851174618\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">went right to Taken<\/a>. That being said, Patrick Brammall\u2019s Ian seems to have a significantly more uphill battle in finding his daughter than Liam Neeson did, who managed to find her within a few dozen hours of her capture. But Ian\u2019s daughter has been missing for more than a decade and the trail has long seemed cold\u2014until it isn\u2019t.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The synopsis for Last Seen reads:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police detective Ian Ridley\u2019s (Brammall) life fell apart 11 years ago when his young daughter, Maggie, disappeared without a trace. Now working as a police dispatcher, the only thing that has kept him going is his implacable refusal to accept that she might be gone forever. When he receives a distress call from a teenage girl he is certain is Maggie, he will stop at nothing to find her and reunite his broken family, whatever the cost.<\/p>\n<p>Brammall stars alongside Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Zahra Newman, Jessica Wren, Tobias Muhafidin, and Chloe Jean Lourdes.
