Reincarnated as a Sword\u00a0Season 2 anime revealed a new trailer and key visual ahead of its October 2026 release date. The sequel\u00a0was announced<\/a>\u00a0right after the Season 1 finale in December 2022. HIDIVE previously confirmed <\/a>that it would exclusively stream the anime as part of its Fall 2026 lineup.<\/p>\n

Studio C2C is returning to animate Season 2, with Shinji Ishihira as director, Takahiro Nagano handling the series composition, and Atsuki Saito as the character designer. <\/p>\n

The new trailer teases the Sky Island Arc and features the opening theme song \u201cDREAM OF BUTTERFLY\u201d by FZMZ. You can check it out below.<\/p>\n

Yu Tanaka writes the original\u00a0Reincarnated as a Sword\u00a0light novel. The novel started off on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2015 with illustrations by LLO. GC Novels started publishing it in the light novel format in 2016.<\/p>\n

A manga adaptation by Tomowo Maruyama is ongoing as well, and there is also a spin-off manga\u00a0Reincarnated as a Sword: Another Wish\u00a0by Hinako Inoue, which\u00a0began in June 2020.
