Cannabis herb with an approximate value of \u20ac122,000 was seized.<\/p>\n<p>During a follow-up search under warrant of a residence in the Castlepark, Galway area, a further \u20ac111,000 of Cannabis herb was seized.<\/p>\n<p>Two men, one aged in his 40\u2019s and one in his 50s, were arrested in connection with the investigation and are currently detained pursuant to section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug trafficking) Act 1996, at a Garda Station in the North Western Region.<\/p>\n<p>The seized substances will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Garda\u00ed say investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Two men have been arrested after Galway seized \u20ac233,000 worth of cannabis in Galway on Saturday.
