The \u201cTGS 30th Anniversary Special Website,\u201d which compiles the history and information of TGS\u2014which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year \u2014 will go live on Monday, August 17, 2026.
In addition to a timeline tracing TGS\u2019s 30-year history and a collection of past posters, the site will gradually feature the latest information on various anniversary events.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, CESA, the event\u2019s organizer, is also celebrating its 30th anniversary and plans to launch the \u201cCESA 30th Anniversary Special Site\u201d on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
The site will also feature the \u201cCESA Game Quiz,\u201d an interactive online game that lets you have fun learning about the 30-year history and culture of Japan\u2019s game industry.
Anyone can take the quiz, so be sure to test your knowledge of games!<\/p>\n

A panel exhibition tracing the history of the gaming industry from 1996\u2014when the first TGS was held\u2014to the present will be held at the venue.
Alongside current events such as stock prices, exchange rates, buzzwords, and hit songs from each era, the exhibition will feature past Japan Game Awards winners, major events in the gaming industry, and hit titles.<\/p>\n

A total of eight individuals have been appointed, including actor Hideo Ishiguro, Kyle\u2014a content creator gaining popularity in the U.S.\u2014and Lappy, an original character from \u201cRavit!\u201d<\/p>\n

First of all, thank you so much for TGS.
Actually, I\u2019ve attended the Tokyo Game Show in both 2023 and 2024, and every time I come back, I bring home enough memories to talk about for over a year.
For me, TGS is an event I \u201cabsolutely have to attend every year\u201d\u2014it\u2019s so important that without it, there\u2019d be a gaping hole in my year\u2019s worth of content.
That\u2019s exactly why I still can\u2019t quite believe I\u2019ve gone from being someone who \u201cused to go on my own every year\u201d to becoming a member of BOOSTERZ\u2014and I\u2019m truly honored.
I seem pretty laid-back usually, but I\u2019m sure the bosses wouldn\u2019t agree (lol).
From Souls-like games to horror titles, the harder and scarier the game, the more fired up I get\u2014and every now and then, I even break into song during my streams.
It\u2019s a little breather right in between being \u201claid-back\u201d and \u201cmerciless.\u201d
I\u2019ve been streaming for seven years, and my motivation has always been simple: \u201cI want to share the joy of gaming with as many people as possible\u201d\u2014that\u2019s all.
