Agadir \u2013 Fuel prices in Morocco have undergone another adjustment, with diesel and gasoline moving in opposite directions from late Sunday, according to information from industry professionals.<\/p>\n
The price of diesel increased by MAD 0.65 ($0.07) per liter, while super gasoline declined by MAD 0.30 ($0.03) per liter. The changes took effect at 11:50 p.m. on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Following the adjustment, it reached approximately MAD 14.95 ($1.61) per liter, up from around MAD 14.30 ($1.54), while gasoline fell to nearly MAD 14.94 ($1.61) per liter from about MAD 15.24 ($1.64).<\/p>\n
These figures are indicative, as pump prices can vary depending on the distributor, station, and region.<\/p>\n
The latest revision comes<\/a> just two weeks after distributors raised both diesel and gasoline prices by MAD 1 ($0.11) per liter on August 2. At the time, diesel prices climbed to around MAD 14.30 ($1.54) per liter from MAD 13.30 ($1.43), while gasoline rose to approximately MAD 15.24 ($1.64) from MAD 14.24 ($1.54).<\/p>\n The latest diesel increase marks the third consecutive rise since mid-July.<\/p>\n On July 1, diesel prices fell by around MAD 0.96 ($0.10) per liter, reaching approximately MAD 12.61 ($1.36).
