\u201cIt is with great sadness that I learned today of the passing of Cllr S\u00e9amus Coyle.<\/p>\n
\u201cS\u00e9amus was a dedicated public representative who gave more than two decades of service to the people of Latton, Ballybay, Clones and the wider County Monaghan. First elected to Monaghan County Council in 2004, he was a hardworking and committed councillor who always worked to raise issues that mattered to local people. Seamus was a poll topper and a very popular public representative.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will be remembered as a passionate Monaghan man, a strong voice for his community and, above all, someone who believed in public service.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis commitment to Monaghan was immense, and it is a great sadness that his life and public service have been cut so suddenly short. He only recently taken on the role of Cathaoirleach of the Ballybay-Clones Municipal District \u2014 a fitting recognition of the respect he had earned from his fellow councillors.<\/p>\n
\u201dS\u00e9amus leaves behind a proud record of service to his county and a community that will feel his absence for a long time to come.<\/p>\n
\u201dMy sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the Coyle family, friends, colleagues, his community and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.\u201d<\/p>\n
