{"id":598033,"date":"2026-08-19T11:32:11","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T11:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/598033\/"},"modified":"2026-08-19T11:32:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-19T11:32:11","slug":"challenging-road-ahead-gofundme-launched-for-sisters-and-child-injured-in-m9-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/598033\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Challenging road ahead&#8217;: GoFundMe launched for sisters and child injured in M9 crash\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fundraiser has been launched to support the three women and a child who were critically and seriously injured in <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/arid-41896663.html\">the recent M9 crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The siblings, named as Alma and Niamh Kinsella and Ella Hendricken, from Carlow, and a little boy, were travelling to Dublin Airport to attend a family wedding in the UK when a BMW, travelling at high speed in the wrong direction down the motorway, struck their vehicle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The incident resulted in the death of five teenagers in the BMW, who were aged between 15 and 18 years old.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It is understood that Alma and Niamh were sat in the front of the car at the time of the incident, while their younger sister, Ella and the little boy were in the back.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">All  <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishexaminer.com\/news\/courtandcrime\/arid-41897968.html\">remain in hospital<\/a> undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
