{"id":598784,"date":"2026-08-20T04:04:09","date_gmt":"2026-08-20T04:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/598784\/"},"modified":"2026-08-20T04:04:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-20T04:04:09","slug":"mcclenaghan-secures-final-spot-at-european-championships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ie\/598784\/","title":{"rendered":"McClenaghan secures final spot at European Championships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Irish Olympic champion Rhys McClenaghan and teammate Eamon Montgomery have both qualified to the apparatus final at the 2026 European Championships in Zagreb, Croatia.<\/p>\n<p>McClenaghan hit 14.400 on pommel ranking fifth place whilst Montgomery scored 14.033 to finish sixth on floor.<\/p>\n<p>This event marks the first ever European final for Montgomery.
