Iarnr\u00f3d \u00c9ireann passengers have been warned to expect delays of up to 60 minutes on train and DART services after a “major signalling issue” in Dublin.<\/p>\n
The signalling power supply fault affecting all services between Landsowne and Donabate has since been resolved and trains have resumed.<\/p>\n
Affected services include: DART, Belfast, Northern Commuter, Sligo, Rosslare Maynooth and M3 Parkway\/Hazelhatch.<\/p>\n
Barry Kenny, Head of Corporate Communications at Iarnr\u00f3d \u00c9ireann, confirmed the fault has since been resolved by Iarnr\u00f3d \u00c9ireann’s technical team.<\/p>\n
He said all services resumed just before 1.10pm and that delays will ease through the early afternoon.<\/p>\n
“We apologise to customers affected,” said Mr Kenny.<\/p>\n
Iarnr\u00f3d \u00c9ireann said alterations wiill be made to help service recovery, while knock-on delays can be expected due to severe congestion.<\/p>\n
