Pictures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/animation\/\" id=\"auto-tag_animation_1\" data-tag=\"animation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Animation<\/a>\u00a0announced Thursday that director Kirk DeMicco\u2019s animated feature will hit theaters Nov. 12, 2027, shifting a week later than its previous release date. The studio also announced that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/jim-gaffigan\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jim-gaffigan_1\" data-tag=\"jim-gaffigan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jim Gaffigan<\/a> will voice Santa, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/andrew-scott\/\" id=\"auto-tag_andrew-scott_1\" data-tag=\"andrew-scott\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Scott<\/a> is set as Jack Frost. Annie Mumolo, Georgette Falcone, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/octavia-spencer\/\" id=\"auto-tag_octavia-spencer_1\" data-tag=\"octavia-spencer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Octavia Spencer<\/a>, Gary Farmer, Luis Gerardo M\u00e9ndez, Cedric Yarbrough and Maria Bakalova also join the film alongside previously announced castmembers McCarthy and Cole Escola.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMargie Claus centers on McCarthy as Santa\u2019s loving wife, who must venture to the dangerous South Pole to rescue her husband and save Christmas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAlso hitting theaters that weekend is Paramount Pictures\u2019 adaptation of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow starring Daisy Edgar-Jones. With shifting back a week, Margie Claus will no longer go head-to-head with Olivia Wilde\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/jennifer-aniston-peter-dinklage-olivia-wilde-naughty-1236658232\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">holiday comedy Naughty<\/a> starring Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage, which Universal releases in theaters Nov. 7, 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDeMicco helms Margie Claus from a script by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/ben-falcone\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ben-falcone_1\" data-tag=\"ben-falcone\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Falcone<\/a> and Damon Jones. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/meghan-trainor\/\" id=\"auto-tag_meghan-trainor_1\" data-tag=\"meghan-trainor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meghan Trainor<\/a> will write and produce original songs, as will Falcone and Jones. Producers for Margie Claus include McCarthy and Falcone for On the Day Productions, alongside Michelle L.M. Wong<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI love Christmas so much, and so does Margie Claus,\u201d McCarthy said in a statement. \u201cOur story is about showing up for the people you love the most at the holidays, and it\u2019s a reminder that you don\u2019t have to be perfect to be lovable.
