Troy Parrott has sealed a move to Spanish side Real Betis from AZ Alkmaar.<\/p>\n
Multiple reports say the fee is in the region of \u20ac20m for the former Belvedere player.<\/p>\n
The Republic of Ireland striker is said to have intimated that the La Liga outfit were his preferred destination after weeks of speculation.<\/p>\n

Parrott landed in Seville this afternoon and signed a five-year contract that will run until 2031, with Betis announcing his arrival on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Having finished in fifth place in La Liga last season, Betis will be playing Champions League football in the 2026\/27 season – a factor that is believed to have swayed Parrott’s desire to make the move.<\/p>\n
The Dubliner joined Alkmaar just over two years ago from Spurs having enjoyed a previous loan stint at another Dutch side, Excelsior Rotterdam.<\/p>\n
